Letter of the Week: Ii (short /i/)This week we are learning about the short vowel sound Ii. For letter bags, the students can bring in an item that begins with the short sound (i.e. instrument, igloo, inchworm).
Our new word is: this!
Mystery Bags are back! Please have your child bring in something that either starts with the short /i/ sound or has the sound in the middle. Short I makes the /i/ sound like in igloo, insect, inchworm, pig, sick, pickle, etc.
