Dr. Kristen Walker, Executive Director
Dr. Walker graduated Summa Cum Laude from Point Loma Nazarene University, where she earned her B.A. and Multiple Subject Teaching Credential. She earned her Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership, an Administrative Services Credential, and a Certificate in Gifted and Talented Education (GATE) from Azusa Pacific University. She later earned her Doctorate in Educational Leadership from California Lutheran University. Dr. Walker began her career in education as a classroom teacher, and she then served as the Assistant Director at MATES for many years. She is now thrilled to serve the MATES community as the Executive Director of this special and unique charter school that she loves so dearly.
