Admissions

School Tours

None currently scheduled.

The open enrollment period for MATES admissions for the 2010-2011 school year closed on March 19th.

At this time, all grade levels except Grade 5 will be subject to a public random drawing to determine admissions. The public random drawing is scheduled for approximately 7:00 PM on Monday April 12th in the MATES multi-purpose room.

Existing MATES students who have notified the school are guaranteed enrollment the following year and are exempt from the public random drawing. As further space in each grade level permits, subsequent preference groups will be enrolled. If there is insufficient capacity to fully enroll a specific preference group in its entirety, a random drawing of the applicants within the preference group will be performed in order to determine the applicants within the group that will be offered enrollment.

Enrollment preferences in the case of a public random drawing are as follows:
1. Students currently attending MATES
2. Siblings of existing students (2009-2010) of MATES
3. Students who reside within the former attendance area of Meadows Elementary School
4. Students who reside within the attendance area of Conejo Valley Unified School District
5. Children of founding group members and children of employees of MATES
6. All other pupils

Applicants not offered admission due to capacity will be given the option to put their name on a wait list according to their draw in the lottery.

MATES will still accept applications from this time forward , however, applicants who complete the enrollment process after the open enrollment period are considered post lottery applicants and will be offered enrollment only after all wait listed applicants from the open enrollment period have been exhausted and on a first come first serve basis.
